My vaginal area has become very icthy especialy when i walk or when my legs are together. I am scared this may be an std. I have only had one sexual partner in my life but he has had more than 4 . I asked him several times and he says he has nothing. I believe hi m becuase in october i had a whole physical and nothing showed up. I did have a bump on my out lip where the pubic hair was. I assumed it was from ingrown hair. It has gone away but no hair has grown where the bump was . This bump showed up on this past saturday. I had shaved the pubic area that thursday and had sex on that friday. Can anyone help? It is just an icthy feeling at times it almost like if the pubic hair is poking it clitoris. (maybe that is it?) I checked for more bumps but there is none. and the vaginal opening it self does not icth. Also i just had a period and found the pads mad it icth more.
Iam just really scared of having an std.
Anyhelp would be nice.

wat u should to is go to a gyn or doc ASAP! it could be clamydia or something else and if left untreated.....you can mess up your fallopian tubes and end up infertile even worse you could end up with a really bad infection that could lead up to serious problems in the future because it was left untreated.. and a physical will not detect any std...what you need is a pap smear FAST! and you had a physical a while ago and just because he tells u hes not having sex with someone else doesnt mean its true.

any has he shown you any blood work from a doctor?? of course he wont tell you...GO TO A DOCTOR!!

Two things, it could be a yeast infection and STD. Try getting some meds frm the drug store for the yeast...they are over the counter. This itchy stuff happens to me all the time & now instead of going to my doc and paying the copay every time & just get a box to get rid of the yeast. This can start if you eat to much sugar, are tkg bcp, fluctuations in your hormones, frm your partner, stress, antibiotics etc. You can ask the pharmacist what he recommends over the counter for a vaginal yeast inf.

Second, u could get tested for CT & GC via cervical swab...not urine. Request either "Direct Immunoflourescent Antibody" (best) or "PCR" testing methods. All others produce many too many fall negatives.

Even one sex partner can give you an STD or an STI. STIs are bugs like the following tht also need to be tested. You hv to insist on these to be tested with your doc.

Aerobic Bacteria
For example: Group B Streptococcus, Proteus species, Klebsiella, E. coli, certain staphylococci, enterococcus facalis Strep, Staph, Actinomyces Israelii,

Anaerobic Bacteria
For example: actinomyces, prevotella, capnocytophaga, peptostreptococci, streptococci

Always best to use condoms & no oral sex. Also, these can be transferred down frm your parents too. Best to PROTECT! I am sure u will find the cause soon & get the trmt u nd. My best wishes to u.....
