I'm at a loss of what to do, I'm 23 I currently live with my b/f. We always have protected sex.
Six months ago I had surgery for endometriosis my Dr. said it may stop the symptoms of endometriosis (bad cramping/ pain/ fainting/ vomiting basically an awful first few days of menstruation) It was not a successful surgery, it couldn't be removed, we were looking into other was to treat it but haven't tried anything since.
My last period was different, a lot lighter compared to my previous experience I thought wow isn't this awesome! Bit is was just different. I had no idea...
More recently I've been exhausted at work, I left work a few times last week, I get nausea from noon or 1 till 6 (no vomiting), very sore breasts, twinges of a headache that lasts a few seconds then goes away but often, a temperature of 99.4 for the last few weeks (I monitor my temperature a lot) I didn't really put all of this together I just figured it was PMS type symptoms with a bit of the flu I've been sniffling and sneezing a bit. I'm not trying to have a Baby it never even was in my mind untill this week. It's not the order I would have chosen for things to happen in.
On Friday I woke up early went out and bought two tests(two different brands) one came out negative and the other never got the main line that appears whether or not your pregnant. I did them from the same urine(dip method). It wasn't the first morning one. I made an appointment with my Dr to check and be placed on an additional method of BC. She did an in house test - negative and sent out blood work (haven't gotten the results yet)
I've been reading a lot and I'm probably scareing myself mostly I could just cry and laugh and so many feeling at once about this. But if I Feel this pregnant and I'm not what the heck is wrong with me?! And what about a false negative on the blood test ( I haven't gotten my results yet) But should I start myself on the birth control right away? What if it is a false negative? Has anyone been in this situation? |
