My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex after my abortion. I took a pregnancy test 3 weeks after my abortion and it tested positive. A few days later though, I had my follow up appointment. The doctor said I was negative. If I am pregnant again, how long will it be before prgnancy symptoms come back?

It could take weeks.

Becoming pregannt so soon after an abortion or d&c is not the best idea, your body needs to heal so you can carry a pregnancy.

I just felt like replying to your problem because it really bothered me....i understand things happen that are out of your control or mistakes that are called for abortions i wish there werent but there are and i understand that but just have one and have unpertected sex again for one to become positive is punishing an unborn child.....i really urge you to try to speak with someone about birth control there are many types out there an iud you never even know its there or mabey the shot will help i ask you to please consider these options if you are going to continue to have unpertected sex.....not only are you hurting a child but also your body if you keep having abortions!
