Im pregnant, but i have 'pregnancy bleeding'

Hi i recently took a test and it came back positive, but i started my 'period' today, can someone tell me what the normal symptoms are of having a period while being pregnant? i seem to have the usual cramping but the bleeding is light..

You could be basically having an early miscarriage, which you would not even know unless you took a test.

It is possible that you could still stay pregnant though.

Take another test just to be sure, and do notr ead the results after 10 minutes.

I am 6 weeks pregnant and I have been to the ER several times and I am experiencing the bright red spotting and/or bleeding. I was told that I could be threatening a miscarriage. I have not seen my pvt dr just yet. I have an appt. soon, but this bleeding scares me but I am preparing myself for anything at this time. My last visit to the ER I was told that my baby is viable and that is a good thing. My family and I just want some answers and remain positive. I had a miscarriage about ten years ago. I was 4 1/2 months pregnant and have not gotten pregnant again until now.
