Implantating cramping while just off the pill?

I recently went off the pill and now my period is 3 days late. I have had some cramping but no period. Do you think this could be from implantation or do you think my body is just out of wack from going off the pill?

It could be both actually! Your body may need some time to get back on the old pattern and in the meantime you may heavy funny periods. This doesn’t mean that you can’t get pregnant because you can and you will probably start ovulating immediately you got off the pill.

The implantation usually occurs a few days before the period’s due but this cramping could also be indication of the coming period, so one never knows until they do a test.

You could give your period a go for another few days and if it doesn’t arrive, feel free to do a home pregnancy test. It is good timing for a home pregnancy test now since it should already be able to detect hcg hormones. I wish you good luck!

Thanks. I am going to wait a few days but I am still a bit concerned. The cramps are gone and still no period. I wasn't planning on getting pregnant, but the pill wasn't working for me. Hopefully all goes well.
