Implantation or not?

Hi I started my period on the 29th of December and it was a normal cycle and it ended on Jan 2, 2007 which is completely normal for me. 2 days ago I noticed light spotting and my period never comes till the 29th of each month and I have never had breakthrough bleeding since I got my period when I was 13 years old. My boyfriend and I use the withdrawal method for birth control and a friend told me that you can still get pregnant off of pre-cum (and i'm not even sure if you can). I am not on any birth control and I just had a check up at the gynecologist about a month ago so I don't have any cysts or endometriosis or anything so I am concerned. Could I be going through implantation right now or could this just be something freaky thats going on with me right now? My breasts hurt and I am getting quite frequent headaches--Please help me clear this up!

hmmm,

I would say it's an ovulation spotting. Only because the spotting happened on your cycle day 14. Unless you ovulated on your cycle days 6 or 7 and had unprotected sex.
If this is breakthrough bleeding, maybe your hormones are a little wonky just now and giving you a headache. (??) I'm just guessing, it's hard to say. (the headaches could also be caused by dehydration)

If this is implantation bleeding, you can do a home pregnancy test (the early type), in 2 -3 days. Or (this is what I would do) wait until your period is due and test then.

(you already know this) but the withdrawal method is great only if you don't mind getting pregnant. People who use that method are also called parents Wink
