okay here's the deal... My bf and I just started having sex recently... and yesterday night we happened to have sex twice... Both times with latex condoms...

I usually track my menstrual cycle with the help of a website... and according to its ovulation calculator, I'm ovulating today.

I told my bf about this and he's a bit worried... Is there seriously anything to worry about?

Also, I'd like to know how effective latex condoms are for preventing pregnancy... a percent would be helpful.

Thanks in advance! Smile

98% effective. Early ovulation is no indication that anything has gone wrong. Just as with late ovulation, it can relate to your mindset. If you're worried, things start getting out of synch.

-_-

Unless it tore, or he inserted prior to putting a condom or post ejactulation w/o a condom, than like the guy above me said.. your fears can throw you out of wack..

98% is correct, if used properly. Meaning you put it on/took it off correctly and it didn't tear. I wouldn't worry too much as, like said above, being stressed out can effect your cycle.
