So I keep seeing information stating that it is a MYTH that hair grows back thicker after shaving the bikini line. I beg to differ in a serious way.... Evil or Very Mad

My bikini line keeps growing and growning with each year!? Hairs are showing up making the line wider and higher! I hate this!! Sad

What is this all about? And why do so many state it just isn't true? I'm thinking of a Brazilian wax now....

To the best of my knowledge, hair does not grow back thicker, or denser, as a result of shaving, or waxing it.

You did not state how old you are. You did say that it seems to grow back thicker and denser every year. Now, if you were only, say, 16 years old then that would explain it. Your body would still be maturing at this point and you could probably expect to see hair growth - this is natural. If you are in your late twenties, or older, then I'm sorry but I hvae no answer for you - except that it could be something hormonal - something of that nature.

But to answer your question, I believe that it is a myth that hair will grow back thicker as a result of removing it.
