Indomethacin prescribed for Orbital Myositis

Month and a half ago, I have noticed that when I look to the left, I feel some pain in the eye. The pain intensified so I could not watch normally. I went to a doctor, who said that I have orbital myositis and prescribed me with indomethacine. What is that medication for? Will it help me with my pain?
