Infection afterapicoectomy

I had apicoectmy on my front tooth last month. It seemed fine after that. However, just last week, i sipped a drink from a straw and felt something strange on the front tooth where the surgery was performed. Now there is pressure on the tooth and I notice a small lump on the gum above the treated tooth. What could this be and what is the solution?
