Hey all,

I'm a 20 yr old man, and only recently had sex (over the last few months). I've had sex about 4-5 times, but never ejaculated. The first few times I thought the problem was nervousness, or insenstivity due to condoms, or poor technique (car sex: couldn't move or really feel anything), but I now know none of these are the problem. And I can ejaculate every time within 10-20 minutes by masturbation.

I'm pretty sure I have a case of psychological inhibited ejaculation, and am tying to work out what the cause could be. I only found out about the condition last night, and it's scaring the hell out of me. It sounds like a near permanent condition, and I'd rather be able to ejaculate (after a reasonable amount of time of course Wink). I've looked through the list of causes, and I know it definitely isn't alcohol, drugs, smoking, traumatic sexual experience or religion. It's possible my main problem is wanting to please my girlfriend first, or thinking too much about her or something along those lines.

Part of me says this isn't a problem at all (I'd rather have what I have than premature, or erectile dysfunction), but I want to have children some day. Also, we have a tendency to "keep going 'til it hurts" which can't possibly be good (eventually I lose my erection probably due to pain or minor damage to the penis). I also want to enjoy sex, and want my gf to as well; definitely don't want her to think I don't cum because she's ugly or something.

So can anyone give me tips about dealing with this? Is it permanent, or will it fix itself if I ejaculate a few times near her or something? Has anyone had problems telling their lovers about the problem? I guess another reason for making this post is to be a little more open about my sex life (possibly another reason is repressing yourself).
