Injured in the Right Groin from Basketball ( sports hernia?)

Hi this is my first time posting ...to start off im a 16 year old male

about a week and a half ago i was playing basketball and my friend had kick me in the right of my pelvic area... i was in deep pain at first but the pain had went away for a while..

about a couple of days later a bump had developed and when i touch it hurts..

Now i've heard of surgery and all that but it sounds a little intimidating..I don't know if its sports hernia or if it is normal ..

I've had this bump for about 4 days now and I feel like the bump is getting smaller as time passes .. if anyone else had this experience before please share because this is worrying me deeply..

It could be a hernia. I have had two hernia in my life time and both needed surgery. It is best to have a doctor determine if it is a hernia and what actions may be needed.
