Interaction between tourettes and spinal cord stimulator

I have been living with chronic pain for 6 years from discs which have now been fused. In additon, I had an accident that dislocated my shoulder and other pain from constant twitching most especially in my neck, shoulder, and wrists most predominantly. I actually twitch all over. My doctors have suggested a spinal cord stimulator with the leeds to be placed in my neck. My neck is one of the most prevalent areas of tics and twitching. Have you met anyone who has tourettes and has had a spinal cord stimulator implanted ; most specfically with the leed wires placed in neck? Do you know how they dealt with the leeds once they were inserted and the light tingling sensation that the stimulator provides?
