Irregular Periods After Plan B (emergency contraception) Use

I'm having the SAME problems. Brown spotting and feeling sick and tired, but also aware that it might be from thinking about it so much and driving myself crazy. If you bleed after you take the pill, is there still a chance you could be pregnant?

alright, i kinda have the same problem. me and my boyfriend had to get plan b twice within 2-3 months.. i got my period after both of them.. but now this month im late by 3 days. i have cramping, somewhat bloated, but no period. i was stressed before but now im not because im told it makes it later.. well now that im not stressed.. whats wrong with me Sad

I have used plan b in february after unprotected intercourse .i got the period after one week after using planb.after that my period was too late .I waited near 7 weeks and used provera.after that for two months my periods were regular.again this time it's already two months over and i could n't see period.can any body please suggest me what i have to do.
will my period is going to be regular after some time or will it bother me.can any body who used plan b can you please share that after some time is it going to regular.i am very ;much tensed.

i took the plan b a day after unprotected sex. i got my period a few days afterwards, and now i've had my period for 12 days. it was heavy and then got light, and now is heavy again. could this be because of the pill?

Yes it is because of plan B.

That bleeding is why PLAN B is only for emergency use, and not every month, because it does throw your cycle out of whack.

Have you considered regular BC pills?

The same thing happened to me.... Embarassed

I just ended my period on Monday (september 17th), then me and my boyfriend had intercouse and the condom broke at 2am on Wednesday (september 19th)...scared as we were, we rushed down to CVS the same morning and got Plan B I took the first one at 10:25 am (8hrs later). That night I took it as directed 12hrs later at 10:25 pm. Then later on Friday I became sick--upper respiratory tract-- (loosing voice, soar throat, sneezing, nausea etc...) Satruday (september 22nd) I took a Equate allergy relief pill based on the pharmistists suggestion at walmart for the soar throat and sneezing to alleviate the pain, then at approximatly 8pm saturday night I started to bleed heavy. It is now Sunday (september 23rd)...I was in the bathroom this morning violently ill...felt as though I was going to throw up, I gagged approx 10 times but nothing came out my stomach felt as though it was churning, my arms felt dead and limp and I just felt dizzy and light headed at approximatly 10 am and lasted for probably 8 minutes, Im still bleeding heavy, and feel a little nausea.

I guess what my question is, is do you think I might be pregnant? Do you think what Im experiencing is just from the upper respitory cold or not? What might be causing the heavy bleeding? Is it normal after the Plan B? How soon should I take a home pregnacy test so it will show correct results?

When we went to the CVS Pharmacy, the Pharmacist told us that he dont think I am, but he suggested that I stop taking the allergy pills just to let my body calm down and clear out.

Then I got sick from an upper respiratory tract cold on Friday (September 21st). I took an alergy pill on Saturday (Septemeber 22nd) at 4 PM and I started bleeding heavy at 8 PM. Then Sunday when I got, at approx. 10 AM I got violentl ill in the bathroom, and gaged as thought I was going to throw up about 12 times, my stomach killed and felt like my organs were churing, my whole limbs felt nauseas, and I felt very dizzy and faint. Since then it is now Monday (September 24th) and I have very light blood it seems to be ending.
Do you thing I might be pregnant? or is this a good sign that Im bleeding? When I went to CVS the pharmasist said that he thinks between the two pills and my cold the chemicals interacted and it might just be hormonal changes, so he predicted that Im not. Please resopond ASAP.[/quote]

I took plan B due to an accident as well and started my period like a week later. I bled for almost ten days and it was heavy all the way through. Now I am waiting on my next period, and am anxious to have it start. The day I expected it has come and gone. I assume since I have had a period since I took Plan B that there's no issue, but still would love for the next period to come. My situation sounds similar to everyone elses, but would love to know if this is somewhat normal with plan b.

so i took two sets of the plan B pill in one week one on a wensday the other on a friday the week of valentines day i had a little spotting a few weeks after its now may 4 and i havent had a peroid yet but over the last few days ive been having bad cramps and i took a pregancy test and it was a neg. is this normal?

I took the plan b pill in the summer in june and july a total of three times. At first my periods where coming on early all of the time. I thought I had taken too much and my body had to get back inline. Now here I am practically a year later and my periods got normally for march and april but just started yesterday and today it's the heaviest I've every seen in my life!! I have to change my pad every 45 minutes and it's really really full! I've changed pants three times today and I couldn't stay out very long because I could feel my pad getting too full. And my cramps hurt so bad it feels like braxton hicks contractions!!! This is the first time it's been this bad. I also have been trying to get pregnant and have been unsuccessful. My husband is beginning to think I can't get pregnant again. I did my physical and it came up with no problems. Do I need a special test?
