Irregular birth control intake

Hi. I had sex with my BF on the last day BEFORE my period was supposed to start. I'm on the pill but I haven't been able to take it at the exact same time everyday because my schedule for work is different for each day. I have been taking it every day though. Anyway, my period was supposed to have started three days ago now, but it hasn't. I'm starting to wonder if there's a good chance that I could be pregnant. Am I worrying too much or do I have a real reason to be concerned? I'd appreciate any thoughts you might have on this. Thanks.

The main thing is that you take them everyday!

The reduction in effectiveness is not going to be a whole lot, but either way nothing is 100%

Your period can start anytime during the placebo week, so no worries yet. IF you wish, you can take a pregnancy test and it would be accurate.
