| I am 18, and has been active for about 2 years. I have been on depo for a year and 1/2, all my STD tests are negative. When I orgasm, at all, including with masturbation, I bleed. It's been happening for about 6 months and I'm wondering if any one has any ideas? |

| I'm assuming you're female because you mentioned you're on depo. You're probably bleeding because you're using too big an apparatus that's causing some injury. Try to downsize. If you're not using an apparatus, you're probably being too rough. |

I heard that bleeding is caused when you're stretching your vagina and that this is completely normal.Is that true? |

I went to the gyno, and this is what she told me:
"When your on the depo, it makes the lining in your uterus to deplete and it cause the skin inside your uterus to be come like chapped lips. And when you orgasm, your muscles move the skin, causing bleeding. This can happen with or w/o pain. I can also happen with orgasms and randomly."
So they got some blood work, gave me a vaginal ultrasound, and put me on estrogen pills. And I haven't had a problem yet.
So if your on depo or any birth control, go talk to your doc. I feel so much better!!!!!! |

i have the same problem but have had it for over 3 years, ive been off the depo for 7 months now though and no change, im not comfortable seeing my doctor about this so if you get a diagnosis let me know :s thanks! |

| Got a friend and she confide to me that everytime she and her boyfriend had sex, she is bleeding and that hurts alot. I advised her to seek medical assistance since i think this is not normal. I am a mom of 3 and never encounter this problem.... |

i am taking a tablet called Microdantin- after sex each time- Bleeding is caused by the penis rubbing inside and irritating the lining- ever since i have started teh Microdantin tablets, I have not have the problem.
Your problem is most likely an infection/irritstion caused by the rubbing sensation- speak to your doctor about a tablet called MICRODANTIN- i am in Australia.
