| Just wanted to let you know you were not alone. I'm going through the same thing right now. Got period over a week before it was due. Very strange. I wonder what is going to happen when period actually IS due. |

| i had the same problem that the girl above described. i started bleeding and it was brown with discharge. i even had taken antibiotics but that was a few weeks before. i have been on ortho tricyclen for a long time so it is not new for me. i am concerned because the bleeding has not stopped. it has now been over 3 weeks and it is getting quite heavy. i am confused how i an bleeding this much while on the pill. |

Im experencing the same exact thing! What can I do to make it stop? Do I have some kind of disease? What does it mean?

I have been using the pill for 3 years, and last month i suddenly got my period half way through a pack.
so i waited 5 days till my period was over, and i only started the new pack on the day i would normally do so.
do you think i need a check up?

the past three times i have had unprotected sex with my boyfriend, i have bled. the first time it was kind of a lot of blood, the next two times it was a little less. i have just started using birth control, about a week and a few days ago, so i literally just started. could i be bleeding because of the birth control?
i just dont get it because i only bleed after i have sex and no other time, can the bleeding still be because of the birth control? |

| Same thing is happening to me, but I am not on antibiotics, nor was I previously. I just keep taking the blue pills, thinking my period is going to go away. But every afternoon I bleed. I have been on the pill for 8 months this time, and years before this and I have never experienced this much bleeding from missing one pill. If I am pregnant am I harming the baby? |

| I have been on levlen ed for 2 years now and at the begging of this pack i missed 4 tablets (because the pharmacy was shut down because of a fire), so on the Tuesday when i got my new packet i took all 4 at the same time, then i was sick that night, so i didn't take any one Wednesday because i was scared i would be sick again, so on Thursday i took Wednesdays pill and on Friday i took Fridays and Thursdays pill, and on Saturday i went back to normal, taking the pills at the same regular time. But my boyfriend and i had unprotected sex on the Tuesday and the Wednesday (after i was taking the pills regularly again) then i read on the packet that i was supposed to wait 7 days before having unprotected sex after i had missed a pill. Now it is Monday (and Saturday was 7 days after i had started taking them regularly again) and during the weekend i have been lightly bleeding but a browny color. I'm really worried that i might be pregnant but i cant find out by a test until next Wednesday which is the day that I'm supposed to get my period. If any one has any advise for me it would be muchley appreciated. |

you have to take the sugar pills, you can't just keep taking blue pills it doesn't allow the body to cycle regularly, it will decrease your chances of getting pregnant ever..or having any kind of a regular cycle. last time i tried to skip my period i ended up still getting it for the night i was preventing it from happening on, and it lasted 2 weeks. so i just take them all, sugar pills included & deal with the 3-5 days a month. |

i have been taking birth control for four months now. the fist month i was off with my bleeding and i bled more than not. the next two months were completely normal and the pill seemed to be working.
however, on the week i was having a period at the end of the week during the third month, my boyfriend and i tried sex for the first time. he didnt have a condom but he pulled out.
it has been about three weeks since then and just today i got a brownish color blood and cramps. im not supposed to start my period for another week. im wondering if this could be a sign of pregnancy, and if there is anything i can do.
im only 15 so i really need help. |
