|

Hi,
I have had irregular menstration from the very beginning, i use to see my period like every two or three months, then as i matured it became like a cycle of 45 to 60 days sometimes, now it has taken a really long time, like 3 months but the difference is that now when the bleeding starts it has a weird color and smell, to me it seems like a brown color and thebleeding is slow, i think that it is because the blood is old and has been stored for too long in my uterus, i'm concerned if this could cause cancer later on in my life, plus if it will affect me when im ready to conceive, for now i already find it difficult to get pregnant , and im not on any contraceptives. Please help... |

Irregular menstruations are pretty common and you shouldn’t be alarmed if your cycle is irregular but has its own pattern. If it starts to get more and more irregular, you should watch it out. You just must be careful when it’s the matter of bleeding. I can help you buy saying that the blood that your vagina drops out after the menstruation is over is just the old oxidized blood from the uterus and this happens from time to time. If you are experiencing something that you think is abnormal, you should refer yourself to your gynecologist. Maybe some examinations will be needed, and you should maybe catch the early train for that as everything that you are being suspicious and is the matter of yourself should be evaluated on time.
Have you had some STDs recently or just anything that could make your period this irregular and what could be the reason for your flow being slow. You just have to do all the examinations in order to find the possible underlying cause for that. And good good luck. |

|

Hi there,
i have been expreiencing some problems over the past three weeks. Firstly, i have a hormonal inbalance. At age 13, i started menstration. As the years proceed, it started to come every four - five months. But the thing is, when it comes, the discharge of blood is usually discoloured. Clotted tissues always comes.
My menstration started on July 23rd, 2006 and to date it is still going on. It has not stopped or ease.
Should i see a doctor/gynecologist as soon as possible?
My boyfriend and i had protected sexual intercourse during this menstration, and two days after my menstration came heavier with more clots. What should i do to stop the bleeding? |
