Hi,
I'm 43 and have started to have Irregular periods over the past year - my doc says perimenopause. This month, I've had PMS symptoms (bloating, cramps, change in bowel movements), but never got my periods - it's now 1 week late. I've been late in the past year, but I just have a feeling this month's period is not coming. I passed a kidney stone, then had a bladder/kidney infection about 6 weeks ago and have been taking a variety of meds/vaccinations for a safari trip next month (Hep A & B shots, Polio, MMR and Tetnus shots, Malaria and Typhoid meds).
I know for sure that I'm not pregant...could this just be more perimenopause or related to the stress of the kidney stone or travel meds?
