Is Abenol exactly the same as Acetaminophen?

I have been dealing with pain from my rheumatoid arthritis for a year and a half. I fight it with anti inflammatory drugs like aspirin and such and I have decided to try with completely different type of medications. So, I asked a friend who has similar problems and he said that I must try Abenol, that it is similar to acetaminophen. Is Abenol exactly the same as acetaminophen?

Yes, of course. Abenol is just a brand name for acetaminophen, which means they do have the same effect. Acetaminophen also helps with pain and conditions like fever. But, it cannot help with redness, morning stiffness and other symptoms caused by various forms of arthritis. So, think well before switching to this therapy. It might prove not to be effective as the previous one.
