Is Cytotec(Misoprostol) good to treat stomach (gastric) and duodenal ulcers?

I have rheumatoid arthritis for 6 years now and the pain is something quite common. For that pain I have tried with several anti inflammatory drugs. Since I have been experimenting a lot, I have developed stomach ulcers. Is Cytotec (Misoprostol) good to treat stomach (gastric) and duodenal ulcers? Will it help me?

I know that non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs could be helpful but on the long run, they might cause some damage because they inhibit production of prostaglandins, which are protectors of stomach epithel and prevent the creation of ulcers. This medication could be combined with NSAID because it prevents the penetration of HCL and its damaging effect.
