Hello! Yesterday my results arrived. I have realized that I have chronic Hepatitis B. This is very difficult period for me, believe me. My doctor told me that he will prescribe me Hepsera. Is Hepsera used as monotherapy? I hope that you will help me with this because I am desperate.

Hello! First of all, I have to tell you that Hepsera does not cure chronic Hepatitis B. You must be very cautious because it is does not reduce the risk of spreading it, too. Hepsera is used to stop hepatitis B virus to multiply. Hepsera blocking HBV DNA Polymerase. Your doctor will prescribe you Hepsera in combination with other drugs.
