| Kind Wildman, no need to be insulting. Try to understand, even with your superior intelluctual capabilities, that not all of us are organic chemists such as yourself. Your comments make sense to very few people. I recommend a MENSA site for you to share your genius with others. And no, I don't read. I am visually challenged and compared to you, intellectually challenged. However, my spelling skills are quite good, and actully is spelled actually. You could blame it on a typo... Peace! |

| I DO NOT KNOW HOW YOU KNOW METHADOSE IS SUGER FREE BUT I DO KNOW THEY ARE THE SAME I BEEN ON IT 5 YEARS NOW HERE WHAT MY BOTTLE SAYS METHADOSE DISPERSIBLE TABLETS UNDER THAT IT SAYS METHADONE HYDROCHLORIDE 40MG TABLETS ORAL SUSPENSION USP 100 DISKETS COME IN IT FULL FROM FACTARY THEN THEY ADD 20 MORE FOR MY MONTH SUPPLY SUGAR FREE I DONT KNOW BUT THEY ARE THE SAME. |

Methadose, can be shot (though not recommended as it will over time cause blood clots!!) , never mind what that one fella said, But i no longer do that, I am what you call a success story of the Methadone clinics. I can tell you that I have heard the most moronic things from some of these people at the clinic. For example... "methadonecauses your teeth to fall out" TRUTH=their previous life style caused their teeth to fall out, and for your teeth to START falling out takes time, so some people think that because their teeth start falling out shortley after taking the methadone (at the age of 45..lol) That , the methadone must have caused it. Example... "Down in arizona the methadone is in pill form, man, that shit is sooo much stronger" FACT.. that IS NOT TRUE, it is the same substace , and I went to school out there during my treatment , and I transferred from a Michigan clinic, IT IS THE SAME THINGPEOPLE!!.
The most important thing that I would like to convey here....is that we need more federal funding for these programs, and they are in NO WAY a bad thing, when run with under trained docters and councilers supervision! I give alot of credit to my counciler, at the clinic, because he is a HUGE part of me coming as far as I have. Without the methadone clinic, I, most likely would have OD'ed on Heroin a second or third time by now, and I think after one time, I'm luckey enough to be alive.

[well i go to a methadose clinic for addiction and let me tell you i think methadonr works way better than methadose methadone works longer and better than methadose but me personally i would rather have methadone...  dizzle uniontown p.a [/b] |

I agree methadose is the bitch from hell, i have been on it for 8 months to beat vicodin at 25 pills a day something had to give ,I started the methadose on my own went from 30 mg to 15mg, I have tried to quit 4 times with no luck it lures you like a sweet horror and then grabs you by the balls, with out it im suisidal and my life crumbles around me, I keep tring to ween down , but then I find myself going back up to 15mg, it took 3 months to get away from 20mg, reserch this drug fully before you take it, Doctors will tell you any thing, then your screwed and rehab is just a buisness, remember that, no one will help you, theres a catch, your sanity, |

| I HAVE BEEN ON A METHADONE CLINIC FOR 4 YEARS (ALMOST TO THE DAY) TO BREAK MY ADDICTION TO OXYCONTIN. THIS WAS THE WORSE MISTAKE I EVER MADE. I HAVE BEEN OFF OF METHADONE FOR ALMOST A WEEK NOW AND AM IN THE MOST HORRIBLE PAIN YOU CAN IMAGINE. I AGREE THAT METHADONE IS THE DEVIL AND ANY AND EVERY ONE WHO DOSES IT OUT TO PEOPLE SHOULD HAVE THE SAME DONE TO THEM. I PRAY TO GOD EVERY DAY TO PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR BEING BAD AND HAVING AN ADDICTION JUST SO THAT HE MAY EASE THE PAIN. PLEASE - IF YOU ARE THINKING OF GETTING ON THIS HELL RIDE - DO NOT!! I DONT KNOW YOU BUT I BEG YOU - IT IS EASIER, QUICKER, AND LESS PAINFUL TO STOP THE DRUGS YOU ARE ABUSING. PLEASE LISTEN TO ME!! I DONT WISH THIS PAIN ON ANYONE - EVER. |

| I saw this topic when searching for a doctor...my husband had a botched surgery for a hernia about two years ago and they fer nerve intrapment...he has had all kinds of procedures and tests and no results - thye have tried several different medications - one of the doctors put him on methadose and finally he was functioning normally - h e was able to th ink clearly and go to work and we caught up on bills and things were going fairly well...however, the doctor took on two other doctors patients who lost their license and when we would go to see him we would be there at 4:00pm and sometimes not see the doctor until 3:00 am no exageration! Anyway, then he went up 100 dollars on his fee and as we are self pay we couldnt afford it - we tried to see two other doctors but when we got in the examining room they siad we cannot prescribe this medication! I am so worried - he is almost out and the side effects are horrible when he has ran out before - we cannot find a doctor and do not know what to do - we even tried to go back to the previous doctor who now will not give us an appointment! Please help! |
