Hi, I am suffering from pain in my knees for some time and I have visited my doctor last week. He prescribed me Naproxen and told me it will solve problem with my knees. I didnt take any medications till now so I would like to know if Naproxen is NSAID. Thank you very much.

Hi, I am also using Naproxen for some time because of my arthritic problems. Naproxen is NSAID and it is very effective for mild to moderate pains. You should take care if you have gastric ulcer and consult doctor about it. Also it may be good to see if you may get som physical therapy because it may be more useful than medications.
