My son has problems with bad posture. He was at the doctor's regular check and he told him that he should take exercise for his spine. My son is 13 years old and I would like to correct his posture now so he doesn't have troubles later. He is overweight and his spine is under pressure. I have heard that the swimming is god for spine. Is that true?

Swimming is good for overall health. It is especially good for your son because he has two problems, the bad posture and overweight. Swimming is perfect solution for both conditions. By swimming your son will lose fat because of physical effort that this activity requires and, at the same time, he will strengthen his back muscles which are responsible for holding spine and right posture. Also any kind of activity is good for young man.
