Hi, guys. I am 53 years old and I suffer from high blood pressure. I use my medications regularly, but I have heard some good reviews about Tai Chi. I wonder whether this ancient martial art can be good for keeping normal body pressure. What do you think? Thanks in advance.
Hello. Many people found relieves for their problems within Tai Chi. Even people recovering from surgery practice Tai Chi. I don't see the reason why you shouldn't do that. There are some studies that have shown that Tai Chi decreases blood pressure with elderly people. Unfortunately, since I am not an expert, I can't fill you in with more details. I would suggest you to talk to Tai Chi instructor. They will know more details, I am sure. Sorry I couldn't tell you more. Good luck!
