| yes, I see what you're saying but bad things happen to everyone it's a fact of life some worse than others. I never said my mother was very loving in fact she was quite abusive to me every way except sexually and I don't have a strong relationship with her but I do respect her and i am greatfull that she did have me when she very easily could have chosen otherwise. My sister was molested by my uncle when she was 2 years old so i in no way came up in a normal environment. My sister still has some problems with it and she can remember it well, but she to would rather be alive and I think that what happened to the baby you were talking about is terrible and I hope that if guilty that offender recieves the harshest sentence there is to give him, although i'm sure it will never be as traumatic as what that child has gone through, however I think that child would still like to be alive and if not then let them decide that at least they got a chance to have a life then right. honestly if one of my sisters or my girl got raped and pregnant it would tear me apart and I would probably have a lot of hate in my heart towards the person that did it and myself for not protecting them. But if they did get pregnant deep down I would want them to have the child for it's sake, however if they chose otherwise I would still love them just as much and I would still be there the same as i am now probably more so to help them through it as much as i can even though I don't agree with what they would be doing. I think the only time an abortion would be appropriate is if the doctors could say that the mother would have a great risk of losing her own life if she was to continue the pregnancy. that is how I feel on this i am sorry if I have offended anyone and I would like to let you know that I don't agree with people just popping out kids with reckless regard to them either if you are to have children at least try to give them a good environment. I'll tell you this though no matter the circumstance if a child is given love by his/her parents/siblings the other things will fall in line I have seen it in my life and from others in a similarly bad situation. |

right..i have got a 2 year old son and yes i am on the pill..but last weeki found out i was pregnant i am not in the situation to have another baby.the doctor informed me that the pill im taking is less effectiv in women 11 stone or over which i never knew about until last week..so for the people out there who are stupid MISTAKES DO HAPPEN AND WAIT UNTILL YOU DRIP UP YOU WONT BE SO QUICK TO JUDGE PEOPLE!!!!!  |

I am so sorry to hear about your childhood and your sister's.  I really have a weak spot for children and I hate to see gown people do such things. But I am glad that you can still maintain a postive outlook despite your past. You seem like a pretty cool person.... the more we go back and forth in dialogue the more I see. Maybe we'll have the chance 2 chat again in another forum. Later  |

Hello, I am a 24 y/o mom of 4. I am recently serparated from husband and have not file for a divorce due to $$$. I kinda rebounded on a guy from the past that I am unsure of my feelings about. We were using condoms with intercourse. I went to the Dr. to get put on the pill and she decided to run a preg test (this was like 5 days before my period was due) and turns out I'm pregnant. Just my luck! I'm stressed as heck and can not controll the ones I have. One is acting up in scholl and at home as well. One is very sensitive since dad left. One is hyper as heck and the other is always into everything. I am without a home and staying with this guy and my mother from night to night. I have no job cuz child care help is not offered unless already working and hard to get job when you have 2 kids to drag with you. (Trust me, I was asked to leave when applying)
There are already pregnancy issues and I just found out some major mental issues in the father's family. I do have medicaid but it does not pay for abortion. I don't have the money for it. There are already some pregnancy problems such as placenta pulling from uterine wall and chances of miscarrigae and as much as I hate to say it, I wish I would miscarry. I need help and have no clue where to get it. I am not willing to carry for I know I will change my mind and be worse off with another child. I already get NO child support from the others' dad. Not to mention I am so moody that I am snapping at my kids every time I turn around (hormones) and they don't deserve it.
I honestly want my life back! I love my kids and want them here with me....... but no more babies than the 4.
I am 7 weeks & 1 day |

| I am about to have an abortion myself and I also trird the home miscarriage thing it does not work and after researching I found it to be very unsafe I say find somewhere you can get an abortion safely |

Not everyones perfect! and most of the time good mothers dont give an innocent baby a life because they might not be able to provide for them or its just not the time to bring one into the world. I think most parents would agree. Most of us can practice safe sex but sometimes birthcontrol dosent work!!! and yeah some people cant conceieve but um guess what there are adoption agencies out there. And you are the one who is dispicable for writing what you did for blaming caring parents for doing something semi right so next time dont bad mouth us unless you know our reasons for doing what we did!!!! |

That is uncalled for...
BC pills are meant to be used as a sole source of BC, some people, Like myself are allergic to latex condoms. Even the polyurethane ones are not good, they are rigid and break easily.
Abortion is a back-up plan if your BC Method fails... |

I expected more from you.
There are soooo many forms of bc tho and your only talking about condoms and the pill!
I just think that its a womans responsibility to know her body, and how to protect it against unwanted pregnancy.
If shes on the pill, she has been to a Dr's office, correct?
She was given every opportunity to inquire about all forms of possible bc and did not do so.
And that her worst concern was money does bother me.
It shows a degree of immaturity besetting of a woman Not ready or not responsible enough to be having intercourse. |
