I guess I am very worried about my little niece. She is only one year old and everything looked fine, but the doctors say that there might be some problems, even mentioned autism and addictive behavior. I did not know that it can be discovered so early. Is that possible?

I am not so sure about addictive behavior but I do know that autism can be discovered in a very early age with techniques very recently invented. I think that it was some research in US in July this year that showed how to diagnose this condition in the age from 14 to 36 months of age. I just hope that additional examinations will show that your niece is fine.
