Is alcohol withdrawal worse even after 72 hours dry?

I am 78 hours dry ( quit cold turkey)....am taking campral and Klonopin from Dr., I felt great yesterday but woke up this morning shaking, shivering and had to run to the bathroom.....feet still tingling and seem to be retaining water.....is the worst part over or does it come and go for a while? Extremely moody, irratable and sometimes plain mean......when will this go away?
