My father is 59 years old and he has been having heart problems lately that made him go see his doctor. Doctor said that situation is far from benign and that some additional tests and examinations have to be performed. Actually, my father is going for angiography tomorrow morning and I would just like to know is that a safe procedure?
You should know that many diagnostic procedures carry certain risk with them, but the benefit that you can get out of it is far more important than that risk. Based on that information, proper therapy might be conducted and even operation performed, if necessary. So think of it as just another test that will eventually help your father with his heart problems.
