HI everybody. I read somewhere that aspartme can be very harmful. So, I checked all meds I’m taking (actually, not meds but protein shake and similar stuff) and most of them contain aspartme. Is it true that aspartme is harmful? What should I do???
This is very controversial topic and I don’t think that anybody will be able to tell you the truth. I will say that aspartame has not hindered my weight loss any and I have not had any side effects from it but there are people that will tell you just the opposite.
I too really dislike all this. It seems to me that everything that has been told about aspartme is like with everything else – for almost every study that says aspartame is safe there is another one that says it is unsafe.... just like guy mentioned above, it is almost impossible to answer your question – I think that no one knows the real answer.

Aspartame is not safe.. since aspartame hit the market in 1982 in the USA.brain tumors has risen 30% . Aspartame is in all diet drinks..fact is it's in thousands of can foods and processed foods.Please google about this. aspartame kills.. check some of these sites. companys do not care what happens to people anymore as long as see the $$$$$$ comming in.
