Dude, it's the most sensitive part of the male anatomy, foreskin, frenulum, and glans. Hacking it off removes around 20,000 nerve endings, if you take the frenulum, around 10,000 more, also now the glans and whatever remaining foreskin hardens to take being exposed, this is called keratinization. which is derived from keratin, what makes up finger nails and hair. So as cut men age, they continue to lose sensation of the penis. |
Female "circumcision" doesn't exist (unless we're talking hoodectomy, which is *sort of* similar)--it is not a good example because what happens in various forms of female genital mutilation is most definitely not comparable to the cutting of the foreskin of the penis. For a number of reasons.
And for the record, pleeenty of women would and do "cut off part of" their vaginas to be more...attractive. Porn is rife with examples. And it's gaining a bit of a sick (yet small) popularity among rich women who aren't porn stars. It's a hush-hush thing...why would anyone talk about it? But that doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
Anyway, I do think there is a definite difference in the feel of sex with circumcised men versus uncut. I prefer uncut ones because they are typically more sensitive and I enjoy the actually physical sensation.
Also, have you ever tried to get a guy off with your hand and he's cut? It's a pain in the ass; you either rub him raw or have to go through a gallon of lube. Uncut men are so much easier to please.
The APA now suggests against circumcising boys. They mention that the potential benefits don't outweigh the negative aspects.
Anyone know the reason it started in the first place? Egyptian people decided snakes = everlasting life. They were pretty obsessed with living forever. Snakes shed skin. Penises and snakes sorta look alike. So, shed the skin of the penis, so to speak, and you're golden. Then it got twisted up in other religious beliefs, and then was a "cleanliness" thing (which is sorta true if you think about HIV prevention in really high-risk countries, but that's as far as the benefits extend). |

you have 20,000 nerves in your foreskin that can never be replaced and many times they remove the furnelum which is like a woman's clit. dont consider circumcision you loose sensitivity in the gland and all kinds of other thing |

I'm not sure. I've only been with guys who have been circumcised - never even laid eyes on an uncircumcised penis "in the flesh" so to speak. I think I would be fine with everything except I would be troubled by oral sex. I like to go down, but I think with an uncircumcised guy I would be worried about the hygiene nightmares you hear about with uncircumcised men, with odor and secretions (smegma) getting trapped underneath the foreskin. Maybe I am just buying into some of the Victorian ideas about cleanliness, but you do hear about some infections happening almost exclusively in uncircumcised guys (balanitis). I'm far from a prude, I'm just curious.
Can anyone speak to this - oral sex on uncircumcised guys? Is it much different? |

You can definitely tell the difference between uncircumcised/circumcised. As a teenage.. My friends will joke about uncircumcised penises saying that they "look weird, are gross, unclean, etc". My EX boyfriend was uncircumcised and I really didn't care...If you love the guy you are with then It really shouldn't matter.. At first I thought it was pretty odd because most guys are circumcised, but that definitely didn't stop me from loving him. Overall, I think that Guys should just be happy with what their parents decided to do with their penis...Haha 
A penis is a penis............
P.S.... I prefer circumcised.. I just feel that It is cleaner..looks cleaner..smells cleaner.. [gross..whatever] but yeah.. their is an extra piece of skin there that sweat can get stuck in.....So... |

I don't really think it matters.
The first guy i was ever with was uncircumsized, and i thought it was a tad weird at first, and i really didn't even notice too much, i think he might have been a little embarrassed or something, cuz he was a little weird about it, but i thought it was perfectly fine.
I dunno, i guess its a matter of preference, but for me, and it seems like a lot of other people, it doesn't really matter =] |

He's right you know, all those circumcised men will have less sensitive penises.
can i just say that where i am from (UK) hardly anyone is circumcised! my boyfriend isn't and he's far from smelly, ugly or anything else for that matter. As long as a guy keeps his bits and bobs clean and especially after sex there's no problem!
plus the poor guy would have no frenulum (the most sensitive part of the penis) and guys go crazy when you lick that during oral sex.
to all those who think a uncircumcised penis is ugly - have you looked at penises in general - they aren't exactly pretty lol, neither is the female anatomy tbf!!!
i prefer uncircumcised - more fun for the guy and is more fun during oral sex/fellatio! |

| so many women are so ignorant on the issue of circumcision. they seem to think circumusized penises are natural for some reason. anyone who has ever seen a circumcision take place should know that it is a completely horrific, unnatural, violent prossess. why anyone would want to slice the natural foreskin off their precious infants penis is beyond me. and actually, from what Ive read..uncircumsiced penises have been known to be more pleasurable for both the male and the female during intercourse. if any women find that their sex partners with uncircumcised penises had trouble getting a full on erection (which seems to be the case for some from the postings ive read thus far) , then you should probably focus the reasoning for that on yourselves. apparently you dont know how to please a normal, natural male genitalia. |

he asked me once, like he was insecure about it;
"baby, is it weird that im not.."
and i just said no it isnt.
as i was thinking about it.
i didnt really notice the first time.
so it really is all about connection. |
