Hi, my sister is 27 years old and her urine pregnancy tests are positive. She is planning to visit her doctor next week but she is very afraid because she already had miscarriage 6 months ago because of blighted ovum. I would like to know if there is possibility for blight ovum to happen again.

Hi, I have blighted ovum too with my second pregnancy and it ended with miscarriage. After that I decided to consult with my doctor about future pregnancies as I was much stressed. Doctor told me there is very little possibility that blighted ovum happens again but it would be good to wait couple menstrual cycles before I try again to stay pregnant. I don't think your sister should be worried too.
