| Hello, I am 51 years old and I want to stop drinking. I am not having any success, but at least the time between drinking had been increased to ten days. Still, I know that it is not enough, but I feel as if I don’t have any strength left for more struggle. I think that meds might help me, is disulfiram the best medication for curing alcoholism? |

| Well, I would not call it the best, but it is rather an extreme solution. And it should be applied only if the patients are fully aware of its effects. In short, it will make you vomit and feel sick when you take the smallest possible amount of alcohol. Are you ready for that? If yes, then don’t just try it, go all the way, it will help, but you have to be strong willed too. |
