Hi! I need some information. Does anybody know Is early dementia treatable? My grandpa is 81 years old and we noticed the first signs of dementia. His doctor gave him certain medications. I’m wondering can any medication help elderly people with dementia. Does anybody who has experience with this disease, can tell me this? Thanks!

Hi! My grandpa also has dementia. First you should know that there are many different types of this disease. Doctor told me that it can sometimes be slowed in the early stages with medication. There are also many kinds of medications for dementia. He told me that cholinesterase inhibitors can be very effective.
