Hello, my mother is 68 years old and she has just been diagnosed with senile dementia. I was given the basic info about this condition and I have to say that it all made me very sad. But, I guess I will have to learn to live with all changes she will go through. Anyway, is giving any kind of task to dementia patient impossible?

Well, with a help of the doctor, some simple tasks might be given to a patient. And sometimes, that is a very good thing, because it might even help the patient slow down the degeneration process. But first, a test must be performed in order to determine the level of the damage in the brain tissue.
