Is gluten intolerance a common disease?

Hi! Yesterday I read an article in one magazine about gluten intolerance. I was surprise. I didn’t know that it can be so serious. I have a little baby. She is two month old and now I’m afraid that maybe she can have this disease. Is gluten intolerance a common disease?

Hi! Don’t worry! Gluten intolerance is not so common. I heard that gluten intolerance (or you can also call it coeliac disease) is more common in the western world. I don’t know why. I know also that it has increased dramatically over the last twenty years. It is a hereditary condition.
