Is hydrochlorot and hydrochlorothiazide the same medication

Is HYDROCHLOROT AND HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE THE SAME MEDICATION?

Hi there! I think these two are the same, diuretics for high blood pressure and water retention. My husband, who is 46 had used Hydrochlorothiazide before. He has never used Hydrochlorot but from what I can remember, these two drugs have the same purpose.

Do you have high blood pressure?

I just hope your not thinking of dieting with these drugs!!! You won’t lose any fat, only water and will last for a few days. Besides these short term results, you could develop heart problems and expose your body to dehydration.

MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE BOTH TAKEN THIS DRUG FOR ABOUT 5 YEARS.
IN THE LAST 2 WEEKS , HE'S HAD 2 BAD HEART ATTACKS, DEVELOPED DIABETES AND HAD OPEN HEART QUAD BYPASS THURSDAY.
THE DOCTOR TOLE ME THE DIABETES WAS CAUSED BY THIS DRUG.
SO I WENT OFF IT 10 DAYS AGO AND NOW MY FEET ARE SWOLLEN AND SORE. I ALSO HAVE COPD AND TAKE A LOT OF OTHER MEDS, BUT THIS IS ALL HE TOOK.
