Is it hard to diagnose partial hearing loss?

Hi. I think that my mother have problem with hearing and everything tells me that it is partial hearing loss. But, she told me that she can hear well so we agreed that she’ll go to doctor to check. My question is is it hard to diagnose partial hearing loss

People who are hard of hearing are often unaware of their partial hearing loss. So your mother is probably not aware of it, but ask her is it now important for her to see the speaker's face in conversation. If the answer is yes than she has partial hearing loss. So, as you can se it is not hard for partial hearing loss to be diagnosed. Also, persons with partial loss of hearing may find that the quality of their hearing varies from day to day or from one situation to another or not at all.
