Is it normal for a variocele to keep appearing/disappearing?

I think i have a variocele, but it disappears sometimes and reappears.. is it a problem?

I don’t know about you but I had to operate on mine. When I asked if there were another option to get rid of them, the doctors didn’t mention about going away on its on, so I am not really sure how come that yours are disappearing.

You say you think you have them. What made you think that? What symptoms did/do you have? I had those little knots above my testicles and my wife and I had problems conceiving. The doctors weren’t sure if varicoceles were the ones that were causing infertility but I was willing to try anything. It took us another year after varicocele removal to conceive.

Back to your question…..i have never heard or read about disappearing varicocele, and whatever I read it was about removing it surgically. I think it would be best if you have it checked by an urologist. That way you will know for sure if you had developed varicocele or not.
