Is it safe for a hepatitis patient to take Toradol?

I have been putting off having knee surgery recently. I asked about Toradol, as I love that drug. I have no side effects and it works well. However, my doctor started to be susceptible about possible hepatitis that I could get during the op. Is it safe for a hepatitis patient to take Toradol?

Toradol is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that exhibits analgesic activity. It is contraindicated for significant hepatic impairment or active liver disease. If your doctor have any doubts about hepatitis, maybe it is better to wait for results, that you can be sure that there have been some studies about active hepatitis and use of NSAID.
