Yesterday my boyfriend told me his testicles were sore...today ones twice the size of the other and it is hurting bad. He can't close his legs or walk properly without it hurting..I thought it may be twisted testicles? but trying to get him to go see the doc is hard.

Ive shown him various online info about testicular torsion and how severe it is but is there anything else apart from that it could be?

How long can it go untreated for and is the treatment done in a hospital and how long does it take?

He works a very big Info tech job so has no time to take off :/

Cheers

Testicular Torsion is not something to mess around with, and if suspected, should get checked out immediately. I've been to a few doctors and the ER this past week because I was under the same circumstances. If not taken care of soon enough, he could lose a testicle. I'd reccomend seeing a Urologist right away and find out what it is exactly - an ultrasound will most likely be needed. Good luck.

tell him to get to the doctors straight away or he could loose his testicles

happened to me a few years ago. bad football tackle, got kneed in the nuts. waited days. in the end, i could barely walk, and my mum took me to the docs. he sent me straight to the hospital, and i went in for surgery asap. just before i went in i was in so much pain i literally could barely move. they had to chop it out in the end
