I'm 42, just had my annual 3 weeks ago, which was a bill of good health. My period just didn't show 8 days ago. I have always been regular - never more than 1-3 days off the start date. I am NOT pregnant, but I feel bloated, my breast are very sore (which I've never noticed during a cycle before) and I just feel like my period is going to start. I continue to see the normal clear discharge - no different than before...so what is it? Too much stress and everythings just off?? Or is it menapause?
