Hi! I want to know something more about dementia in the elderly. I read a little bit about this disease and I was really surprised. It can be very serious. My mother told me that my grandmother had dementia. Is it true that dementia cases is higher in women than it is in men?

Hello! As I know it’s true. I know many things about dementia because my mother has it. As I can remember, I read somewhere about one research which showed that chance to get dementia was higher in women than in men at age 95. I don’t know why that is happen.
