| My friend has been ADHD for as long as I can remember. It would affect her social skills a lot, so I'm kind of her only friend. We get in fights a lot, but we make up later, and lately I've been noticing that the unusual way she acts doesn't seem like it's part of her ADHD. When I'm at her house, we would talk about something, for example, a movie star. She would say he's hot, and I would say he isn't. We would be going back and forth jokingly and then all of a sudden her face would drop and she would say something like, "You never understand me, why are you you always arguing with me?!? You know what? Just leave!". I would be standing there in shock, even though this happens at least twice when I'm at her house. She would be mad for about an hour, and then she would apologize, and I would take some of the blame to make her happy. Then she would be completly fine until an hour later, when I'm talking to her sibiling, and she would say, " Fine, if you want to talk to her, then why are you in my room!?!? Why dont you two just go off and be friends?!?!?" . (her sibiling is 6 years old). This happens ALL the time. Is she bipolar? |
