Hello, I have had menstruation loss for three months now. Pregnancy is excluded, because I did not have sex for 6 months now. I have MRI scheduled for the next week and doctors think that it might be the pituitary gland tumor. I would just like to know if the pituitary tumor is hard to diagnose.

Pituitary tumors are based on disturbed level of hormones. Symptoms and signs might vary, so the diagnose is determined with the help of the signs the person has described, there are blood tests and MRI, scanner etc. MRI is the last step for making a diagnose. And even if it is a tumor, it can be treated easily, especially if it is discovered in time.
