My mother has been using a whole bunch of meds ever since she has started dealing with her migraines almost a decade ago. At the moment she takes Codeine but the problem is in her new diagnosed condition rheumatoid arthritis. Now she has to use Celebrex but I am not that sure if she has mentioned her migraines to the doctor. Is it safe to take Celebrex with Codeine?
I think that you have to talk to her and see if her doctor knows about the migraines. Both of these medications are not that mild, they have their side effects, especially Celebrex (it is not recommended for those with heart problems!). And it is possible that the effects of these drugs might be boosted if used at the same time and that too is not that good.
