Hello, there. I would like to ask something. Recently a skin tag appeared on my neck. This is the first time in my life that this happens to me. I am determined to go to a doctor and remove it. The thing that interests me is whether this procedure is painful or not. I will appreciate it.
Hello to you too. Skin tags are usually harmless. They don't cause any symptoms. The removal process is usually painless. Especially if you do that by cryotherapy or cauterization. There is a possibility of surgical removal. In that way, you can have local anesthetics. If the removal is painful, perhaps it isn't a skin tag, but something else.
