Is the symptom im suffering from part of asian flush?

when i drink, i tend to get hot.. and but i also feel quite nauseated, and this is just during when im drinking the alcohol. Is this part of the so called "asian flush" or am i allergic to alcohol?

Asian flush usually happen in Asians as many of them lack this enzyme that breaks down some alcohol ingredients. When this happens, it means that the toxins are in the body causing all sorts of strange symptoms like severe redness, puffy eyes, they look like they’ve drank all night although they had just one drink, etc.

You may not have an allergy but only be more sensitive to some alcohol ingredients. Your stomach lining may get irritated and you can develop stomach pain, nausea and heartburn. The feelings of hotness are from the increased blood flow to different organs, especially skin and nose lining.

The only way to avoid the symptoms is unfortunately to avoid alcohol.
