Is therapy only answer for Antisocial Personality Disorder?

Hello, folks. Ever since I know my brother, he had troubles with authorities. He constantly broke the law and often went to prison. Later, he was found Antisocial Personality Disorder and he was sent to treatment by a court. I can’t say that this had any success. I wonder whether therapy is only answer for this disorder.

Hello to you too. I know how you feel. My son had similar troubles. My husband and I were told how therapy would work. He went to psychotherapy. His therapist was one of the best. My son was also given some antidepressants and anxiolytics. I must admit that this didn’t have many results. But, I don’t see the alternative. You can’t send to prison for the rest of their lives your closest. I am not sure what kind of solution you had in mind.
